If you want to renew your vehicle registration and your vehicle is more than 5 years old, you will need a Safety Check. Safety checks are basic mechanical checks, targeting certain vehicle components that may cause a risk to vehicle occupants and other road users if they are not operating correctly or are excessively worn.
Only stations authorised by Roads and Maritime Services (replacing Roads and Traffic Authority) are able to perform a safety check. We are one of the authorised service stations that is authorised to carry out the safety check.
After your vehicle has passed the safety check, we send a report to Roads and Maritime Services electronically.
